When you're online with Deliveroo you've probably been offered two orders from one restaurant around the same time. We call this a stacked order - it's designed so you can earn more in less time by delivering to nearby addresses. Plus it helps us provide a more efficient service to our customers.
Stacked orders can be offered to you before you accept the order, or when you get to the restaurant you might see that we've automatically added a second order while you were travelling.
We've been improving the stacked order experience and we're excited to trial a new way for you to earn more efficiently when nearby customers are ordering from the same place.
From today you can also be offered a stacked order while you're waiting at the restaurant. This means that if your first order isn't quite ready when you arrive, but another order is ready around the same time, you can deliver both and earn more.
These new stacked orders will pop-up in the rider app, along with the map and address of both customers, as well as the additional fee you'll receive for completing the order. You can use all this information to choose whether to accept or reject the second order.
As with all orders you have freedom to choose whether or not to complete them, and you can unassign from one or both orders at any time if you no longer want to complete them.
We hope that these improvements will help you to earn more and make the most of your time on the road. We'll be closely monitoring whether this trial improves the experience of riding with Deliveroo and we would love to hear your feedback.
